Previous - this entry written on October 31, 2007 at 1:20 am - Next Have given up completely on the horrible mummy movie as I remembered watching part of it and it just kept getting worse. We're now most of the way through Pumpkinhead, which is... well, if you liked the Evil Dead movies you'll like this. It's got cheese, cool effects, GREAT makeup, and it's nonstop spook. The main reason we're watching it is because one of the screener DVDs Eamon gave us is the sequel to this and I've been refusing to watch it until I watched the first one again - I'd only seen about a quarter of it the last time I tried. It is NOT a good horror movie. It is, however, an EXCELLENT Tacky Horror Flick, and will be made even better by the pumpkin pie we're going to eat between movies. ^.^ One warning, they pour on the emo through large chunks of the flick, they sorta drown you in it. *shrug* It works, and it's... somehow suitable. Doesn't make it nice... ooh. They just got out a flamethrower. Going back to watching now.
