Why the bloody hell can't the medical profession realize that when x medication WORKS JUST FINE the best plan is to stick to that medication instead of trying six others that DON'T DO A DAMN THING OTHER THAN MAKE YOU SICK? Seriously, wtf.

I wouldn't mind it, even, if the doctor had said 'ok, here's x medication AND medication a, b, and c - try those, if they aren't working, go ahead and take the one that DOES work' but no. HELL no. And when one of them not only doesn't work but makes me violently ill and in MORE pain, I got told to take an anti-nausia med and keep taking the one that makes me feel like shit.
