So yes, we acquired an Angel over the weekend/first couple days of the week. It was SHINY. She got to meet our delightful little oracle, the kids, even Derrick; it was an eventful weekend to say the least, and a lot was learned. Always good, hm?

We had fun, too. The house now has a laundry room, a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, a hamster closet, and the Abraham Lincoln Suite. ^.^ The bedroom has rather literally a wall-to-wall bed - it sleeps five or six fairly easily, four incredibly comfortably, seven or eight in a pinch, and oh my GOD is it nice to nap on. We need to shift stuff a bit, and finish cleaning, but on the whole it's already nicely done.

Kim will be moving her sewing machines into what was previously the second bedroom; we'll likely shift one or more of the desks in there too, and possibly some of the hamsters once the rest of it's all settled and clean. We've got that lovely minigrill that I'm hoping to put into service soon too, we dun' have coals for it yet but they're not hard to come by. I've got a whopping steak in the freezer that I'll defrost, pound (or let one of the wenches pound, just for the fun of it), season, and grill. Yay!
