Becca is over, I am actually AWAKE, and I got a call not from my doctor but from her assistant. To date: I have been told to take (on various occasions) 3-, 5-, 6-, and 10-a-day of my anti-seizure medication. At present I am taking SIX because my doctor and her assistant both thing that TEN is too high and obviously THREE or FIVE (not in order of their issue) are too little. The ER doctor said TEN, yes. Right now I am taking the SIX for two weeks, after which I will have my blood drawn and my dylantin levels checked (assuming I haven't had a seizure between then and now). Do I like this plan? No. Do I see a useful alternative? No. Do I expect at least one more freakin' seizure between now and two-weeks-from-now? Yes, unfortunately. Am I having a hard time controlling my fingers as I type, do I find it hard to stay asleep because I'm twitching, and is my speech pattern all broken? Yes.

So.

Becca and I are going to pick up a Jamba thingie for me and some chocolate for her and (eventually) Ryan, assuming things go according to plan. After that? It's really anyone's guess.

Oh, and kittenpet... what exactly do you want DONE with your credit card? And again yes, I've already wrangled with the temptation of Being Evil and treating myself to a decent dinner. You have NO idea. *amused*

Seriously, the first person to arrange several kidlet-free, calm, peaceful hours that involve food of some sort, caffeine of some sort, and (preferably) alcohol of som sort will win my undying gratitude. I'm really NOT dealing with the almost-my-doctor-call well at all. I can literally watch my hands clench if I am not paying attention to them. *blinks* I should have stayed asleep.
