Previous - this entry written on December 30, 2003 at 5:03 pm - Next The dizpop story (see my last entry) was actually written while completely sober. Surprising, yes. See, we - by 'we' I mean me, Caleb, Deb, and Tammi - were watching a show on the Dead Sea and scrolls and salt and stuff. At one point they flashed a picture of a rodent-like creature a bit bigger than a rabbit that they said was actually related to the elephant, just like shrews. From there somehow I got the general concept, Deb said I should write it and that she'd try to illustrate it, maybe end up with something link-worthy. Yes, much like The Pants. *wry grin* I'm about to go nibble some spicy stuff, possibly nap, and then likely sit around talking, sketching, drawing... I've remembered all over again what I like about being here: it's a 24/7 craft show, effectively. Having Tammi here too makes a difference as well, somehow. Things... they're just flowing easier than they did for a while, I really don't know how else to phrase it. My ankle is still causing trouble, although I've been keeping it iced and elevated. I'm going to have to get in contact with medical people yet again. I need to do something about this. I'm already starting to have some of the twitchies that are pre-seizure; I'd hoped that having one so recently would kinda ward off another for a while but I'm having to fight to keep the symptoms down. *blinks* Amazing how much my life snaps into focus when I'm worried about something medical. Geoff... ehh. I want to spend some time actually talking to him soon-ish, preferrably before New Year. *shrugs* Long story there, most of it NOT going in here yet. Yes, I actually cried. I wasn't surprised by the tears, really... just the timing of 'em. *shrugs again* Anyway. I'm off to watch Animal Planet, eat dinner, and nap. I'll save the world tomorrow.
