So now that I've managed to cheer up a bit, what's occupying my thoughts almost exclusively?

Timing. Planning. Looking up rituals and diagrams and charts, thinking about dress designs, wondering who to invite.

Handfasting.

Why is everything so confusing?
Maybe I'm just out of my mind...

Here's what I'm hoping for: Caleb and I to get legally married in July. Kadin to be Branded in early November. If Pam can make it down here, she'd only be coming for Con, and since obviously it can't be done AT Con timing would get all odd. The handfasting to happen in late November - before or after Con. Not sure which. *blinks* Wonder how much Heather charges for playing at something like that? I know she's got a website... I should check. She'll be in the area for 'Con anyway.

See, I just realized today that if the handfasting is in November, I've got six months to plan. *blinkblinkpanicblink* I really don't intend to do this often, I want it to be right, to go well, to be perfect. *smile*

I think I will invite my parents, but talk to them separately about it... yes, this, like pretty much every other part of the handfasting, will have to be approved by the boys. Must Get Planning!

Dress. I still don't have my dress. Then again, I'm hoping to have dropped a fair amount of weight by then too, so... *shruggles*
