News, Ramblings, A Writing Challenge and A Request For Help

Yep. That would be the logo graphic for the Deviant Fish guild. I feel so productive. I also feel like passing out, so I'm going to go do that. First though, semi-news: we now have a good, brand-new shiny black microwave, and a full set of gorgeous black dishes - plates, cups, bowls, dessert plates, saucers. Admittedly, one of the plates broke, but as it too is brand new and we have the receipt, we'll be getting a new plate to replace it shortly. We've got a crapton of nice silverware, FOUR chairs now counting the desk chair, and Caleb found the tv remote. We've got a coffeepot and a crockpot - no rice cooker yet, but we're working on it - a teapot, some ice cube trays, some nice stemmed glasses, plenty of toothpicks, a pot, a pan... we're still desperately in need of some knives though. *shrug* It's starting to feel as if we're properly Moved In. Oh, and I think I know how I'm going to set up my little private area... it'll basically be a half-tent against one wall, done all turkish-harem-style only with nice bondage bits set into the wall to attach people to. *smirk*
So, a writing challenge, for anyone willing to amuse me: write something, anything, from the point of view of someone chained inside such a tent, unable to see out or even be sure you were still indoors... a small tent, just tall enough to stand in, just large enough to lay down in or for two people to sit comfortably in, the walls of thick canvas and draped with middle-eastern-style rugs, scarves, strings of delicate silver bells wrapped here and there, the only light from what looks like a flickering oil lamp suspended from the center of the tent. What would have brought you there? Would you be bound, a captive... or unbound, an emissary perhaps, or a suitor... or just a curious tourist, who stuck his or her nose in the wrong tent?
Also, still looking for more words/phrases for Tiny Tales. Feel free to leave suggestions in my notes.
