What do I think about feminism? I think it's about on the same level as christianity.

Now, the why:

The main reason christianity annoys the holy and unholy fuck out of me isn't the religion itself, exactly. It's the rabid christians, the ones who feel the need to convert everyone OMGnow. The ones who frequently talk your ear off, the ones who leave religious tracts instead of tips at restaraunts, the ones who have so much hate for anyone not them that they will shun, or even torture, anyone who does not share their faith. I cannot STAND people who get up in my face trying to convert me...

...and feminism, much like christianity, has enough followers that I can't hear the word without chringing and I'm a woman. I can't imagine how annoying it must be for men. There are very few things where people insist in this day and age that if you don't believe them, don't go to the extremes they do, you are evil and unfit to be a member of the human race. I say EVERYONE belongs. The ones who have even in the last ten years stoned someone for their sexual choice or their religious choice are WRONG, but you know what? I wouldn't kill them for it, I wouldn't even punish them for simply having their beliefs. It's when their belief begins to affect others in a negative way that they should be stopped, and quickly.

So no, I don't consider myself a feminist. Yes, I hate the word.
