Awake with massive side pain - can't tell for sure if it's a gallstone or a kidney stone, but it's definitely hurting, whatever it is. Remarkably unfair, if it's a kidney stone - I've been keeping myself massively hydrated, drunk a good 2-3 liters of water in the last day or two as well as plenty of soda and tea. Likely, from the way it hurts, it's a gallstone; if that's the case about all I can do is wait it out, hydrating more won't actually help pass it any sooner. *sigh*

Taking another amatryptaline even though it might dehydrate me a bit which is not of the good if it IS a kidney stone; taking it with lots of water though, and finishing off the bottle of orange soda, and some aspirin, and hoping that's enough to let me get back to sleep. The only other real option is either call my doctor and beg for more vicodin (which is not cool and I don't wanna do) or head to the ER to get them to x-ray me and figure out which one it is, and likely get a shot of morphine while I'm there and some tylenol-with-codine for afterwards (which is also not cool, would require Caleb to be here with the car (which he is not), and would involve a LOT more time and effort). So basically yeah, I either tough it out and try to sleep, or go visit/call doctorish people, neither option sounds particularly GOOD but the trying to sleep is the simplest for now. If it hurts worse when I wake up and particularly if I've a fever when I wake up (got a trace of one now, I think, but the aspirin should take care of it), then I'll end up heading to the ER, as at that point I may be dealing with an infection as well as whatever-it-is now.

Stupid body.
