So far I have a box 'o chocolate-covered oreos, a cool book on charms, fetishes, and talismans through the ages, a can of teryaki-smoked-oysters *blinkblink* ...and a red hairdye kit that I intend to use tonight.

I'm listing the physical stuff there. Actual touch-and-feel-them presents.

But I'd like to list a few of the non-physical things I've gotten recently, too.

I've gotten happy-birthday wishes from a lot of friends, including givenocredit, sin, and Grr-lady. Oh, oh, oh... guess what!

I've got a few days where it's only minor aches and pains that I have to deal with.

I've got an over-affectionate cat that is technically Caleb's.

I have some of the most wonderful boys in the world.

I have the love, affection, care, and/or friendship of enough amazing people that it still astonishes me that I could be so lucky... Scott (both of you), Juliet, Kenji, Daris, Rhett, Hida, Talia, Caleb, Kadin, Arrasto, Sin, Megan (all three of you), MeLLoN, 'Stina, Boots, Matt, Candice-and-Eamon (they're so much of a couple I can't bear not to say their names like that), Grr, Thomas, Alan, Maia-bug, Bug-Aleah, John, Nreshan, Tammuz, Alex-Dai... and I know there are more that *bad Jax* I am forgetting... but isn't that a huge list?

I am one of the most fortunate girls on the planet, I think. My life sucks. My health sucks. My current finantial situation sucks. BUT...

...I have more good friends than a lot of people get in their whole life, and I have them all at once. Here. Now.

This seriously kicks ass.

We're gonna have cake and stuff once Juliet gets over, then after Buffy we'll be calling Caleb, and then I'm going to have a nice bath and dye my hair. *bounces* I'm looking forward to it. I'll try to get a picture taken of me with red hair... I might actually see if I can convince Candice or Juliet to take a pair of scissors to it, too. Shorten it up a bit before I dye it. *shrugs*

Not sure, though....... we'll see.
