Part-time job - $40 a week-ish, plus food, shelter, candy-and-alcohol bribes, and the occasional transportation and Maxx ticket. Basically, Jamie's going to college on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Micah just got word there's a shiftbid, which means he may not have either of those days off. Whichever days he doesn't have off, I'm going to come over the night before, crash here, wake up with Jamie, and keep an eye on Emmy. Get paid a bit, get a smoke-free place to crash, free food and entertainment (extended cable and a LOT of different video games and occasionally other people wandering through for hours at a time)... yeah, I'm fond of this idea. Even if it DOES involve dealing with a small child. They're gonna potty-train her... and yes, I will be able to get weeks off when I need 'em and they know I'll be California-bound eventually. *stretches sleepily, grinning* It'll feel good to have SOMETHING to do on occasion that I KNOW I can handle... and dammit, I need to get back over to Dixon House and work on the catalog. *twitches* I still say it would have been a TON easier if I'd just dragged the stuff with me out here and gotten the scanning done here... but Deb doesn't want it leaving the house, and if I stay out there I end up feeling even sicker than I do out here, which is very not productive. Geh. Anyway. I'm going to go find food-and-drink and see if I can go back to bed. I'd been halfway expecting a call from the Tygrrr, but apparently that's not going to happen... anyone remember what I said about Not Trusting? Yeah, he's one of the main reasons my trust just keeps getting harder to earn. Ehh, fuckit, I'm going back to bed.
