In case you didn't know, I've got a cold. *snarf* It's kept me nearly voiceless for about a week now... no fun. No fun at all.

*sneeze*

But cold or not, I'm gonna persevere... really I am. I've got today off, work tomorrow, the day after that off. And despite all this wonderfully fucked-up cross-scheduled time off and despite all the bizarre things going on, I realized that y'know, it's not so bad after all.

I've got a lot of people pulling for me, friends and playmates, people who seem to actually care... gods know why, but they do. *shrug* I've got some truly bizarre talents going for me as well - for example, I am once again confronted with a Dom-going-sub who is convinced that it's my doing. *grin* I love doing that to unsuspecting Doms, particularly when I'm not actually aware that it's me doing it until after the fact.

I haven't introduced Kitten yet... let me do so. He's my online pet, friend, and a helluva lot more... I love the boy to pieces (sometimes nearly literally). And right now, he's AWOL. His parents have removed all internet access, and he's suffering in a small Canadian town.

But it's not so bad. He's got friends there who are helping him, and he knows he's loved and treasured. He's got a quick mind going for him, he's VERY bright, and I know he'll pull through this just fine.

I'm sick as a dog still, got bills to pay (as the song goes) and really, it's gonna be tight these next couple weeks because of the time I've missed. But it's not so bad. We've gotten by on less, Caleb and I have... caleb is my fiancee. Yes, that's right, I have TWO men. *wry grin*

And that's not so bad either... they get along, and I love them both. I'm a very happy Jax. It helps that Caleb is Bi and kitten is learning to be so.

And now the kicker... there's even more. There's a boy named a lot of things, but Elru is the one I first learned. Yep... the total is now at three. You see why life sometimes gets complicated? I have a slave... I have a semi-fiancee... I have a lover-playmate-pet-whatever-he-is... but really, it works out. Caleb is not bothered by him (although I don't know if that will change after they meet), Elru and Kitten both seem to get along...

It's not so bad at all. I've got love, I've got a roof over my head, a bed to sleep in, people who understand me at least part of the time, and cough drops to keep my lungs where they are supposed to be.

I don't think that I really need anything more than that. *smile*
