*sniffles, sneezes, snorks, and generally sounds strange*

Geh... I hate hate hate having a cold. On the bright side, it's one hell of an effective distraction from the pain... on the down side, it's that distracting because now EVERYWHERE hurts, and I can't breathe - breathing being one of those habits I just can't seem to break, y'know?

*sniffle*

Need to remember to bug my mom about cold medications, vitamin C, etc... I KNOW there's gotta be a way to get vitamin C that's not those nasty-tart chewable things. Yes. *hangs her head in shame* I admit it, I am one of the few people in the known universe who HATES AND DETESTS those things. Orange (any citrus flavor, really) is the worst, but cherry ranks right up there on my list of things-I-do-not-want-in-my-mouth. Gack. It takes me HOURS after I eat one to get my lips to stop puckering.

But I may have to break down and take some just to get this cold over with... vitamin C, Garlic, Ecchenesia (which I can't spell but CAN pronounce), Ginger, Zinc, and... oh, darnit... what's the thing they are always mixing with calcium? It's one of the metals, I think, but I'm not sure. I know it's not Mercury.

Ehh.

I'll remember sooner or later.

Hopefully, the 'sooner' part will be VERY damn soon... grr... now it's driving me nuts. I know it begins with M. It's not Melatonin - that's for sleep.

Ehh.

Must stop thinking about it.

Instead, I'll think about the blinding headache that is invading my sinuses, my ears, most of my jaw, and a large portion of the rest of my head. I have a good inhaler-and-a-half left of sinus spray and I might start using it now BEFORE this turns into a serious fuck-me-over infection.

Dunno.

Now, if Deb would just get up so I can go bitch at OHP again...

*pads off, wondering if she wants mint tea or to throw up... pads back for a sec*

Oh, yeah, another thing you prob'ly don't even want to think about - I am now officially coughing so hard I throw up from the force of the coughs.

Nasty.

And if this thing follows true to form, the worst of it (if I use the inhalers - please, people, remind me to use them!) will be over in a couple days, but I will be sniffly for a month. *twitch* So very not fun.

Oh, well. I just hope Deb and the rest of the crew don't start coming down with it before OryCon... Deb and I were both sick at OryCon last year, we stayed in the hotel room most of the time and were miserable. It bit. I mean, it REALLY bit. *twitches again, pads off*
