Breakfast - Hungers Are Odd
Previous - this entry written on September 21, 2002 at 8:26 am - Next

It's 8:30 in the morning and I'm up and awake.

Got to bed and to sleep BEFORE MIDNIGHT last night... I'd been up since 7:00 and in a state of total stress-and-shock for most of that time, so I wasn't too surprised... but yeah. Now I'm up at 8:30 and GOT up at 8:00 and I want breakfast, dammit!

Wishing I could bring Torian and Kadin here too... getting a taste, again, of how much better it is when you have someone next to you makes me want all the more to share that with them.

I miss ALL of my boys.

I really am glad that Caleb is finally home - home being defined as 'anywhere there is me and one or more of my boys in the same general geographic location'.

Someday home is going to involve three boys, and me, and maybe Malkav because I know Caleb misses him.

If not Malkav, then perhaps a different actual cat. MUST have some sort of cat, though. With Kadin being my kitten, Torian being my cat, me being just general feline, and Caleb having catclaws and catwhiskers and seeing in the dark... yeah. We need a cat.

I think, if we get a new cat, I will call it That Guy. Just imagine how much amusement that could provide: "That Guy finally learned to use the litterbox"... "That Guy threw up a lizard head under the bed"... *wry grin* That, or I'll call it People. "People scattered cat litter ALL OVER THE HOUSE yesterday"...

...err... yeah. A bit too much time on my paws, as it were. But really, the cat's likely to be the most human of us all, therefor its name should reflect that.

Grr. Hungry. For, like, FOOD. *wry grin* Same problem I always have - now that I have someone HERE to satisfy my other hungers with, most of them fade into the background... satisfied, for now, simply by his presence.

Odd.

But give it a few days (or ideally, a few weeks) and WHAM, hungers everywhere, and then the poor boy gets bruises and bitemarks and scratches and whipscars and... oooh... ok. Never mind, apparently I was wrong. *wry grin* There's a BIT of the old familiar hungers hanging around too.

But breakfast first - we're in the bedroom RIGHT NEXT TO Deb and Robert's bedroom, ergo being quiet in the mornings and late at night is fairly important. *amused*

Oh, and apparently Snowtygrrr has once again dropped off the face of the earth...? Grrrrr. He needs to stop doing that. At this point, I get worried.

Geh.

Deb is up, so I'm off to wake up Caleb and demand we go out for pancakes.
