The guy I'd been chatting with while we were waiting (old army guy, we were comparing medical problems) had been doubting my comments regarding my luck. I went, brought him up and had the lady at the desk tell him that yes, EXACTLY as I started to say something after walking up, the network went down. He was very sympathetic. *wry grin*

I've got a temporary medical card, tomorrow I double-check to see if it's hit retroactive yet and go out to the pharmacy for a refund. I've been to see my doctor who checked for infection, checked my liver functions, checked my dylantin levels, and generally was useful. The only things I have left to do: turn in backup paperwork, get out to Gresham for a day, mail stampstuff. I'd meant to mail the stampstuff today but I forgot to put it in my backpack before I left the house and didn't remember until I was in Forest Grove, doodling. *sigh*

I got up about a half-hour or so ago, just in time for dinner (which is effectively my lunch) after sleeping for... *glances at the clock* ...5-6 hours. Nice rest. Sleep is good, particularly after the amount of time I spent around LOTS of screaming infants, people yelling in Spanish, and Weird Bus People. I'm half-tempted to go back to sleep now, but I'm waiting to see if Becca and Ryan are headed out-and-about. If they are, likely I'll be wandering with them, and sleeping later. At the moment, they're discussing Bad Things In Fast Food... and this discussion is coming while Ryan wants Taco Bell.
