I had a bottle of extraprin - the nifty tylenol-asprin-caffeine thing, but I can't find it. Only one of the empties comes into view. This is frustrating - my throat really hurts, and the extraprin would help a lot. I'm tempted to go dig through the medbox to see what comes up... in fact, I think I'm going to go do that right now.

...and I return with not only extraprin but a dose of NyQuil pills and the bottle of chewable ibprofin.

The room is comfortable right now. Walkways, I can get to the meds, to the bed, to the door, to the computer, without any problems. The bed has blankets all over, pillows, a few candy wrappers. A heating pad. A couple antihistamines, a couple books. Part of a newspaper. It's messy but not invisible, very real, comforting me with the knowledge that if I want to curl up and sleep it's there waiting for me. Beds are usually pretty reliable like that. One of the things that makes them so very great. *shrugs*

There's music too, but then that's not really news. Given my choice, I don't do anything without music. It matters too much to be left out of my life.

I will have taken enough meds soon that if I had a completely empty stomach, I'd be in a lot of trouble. As it is, I've been shielding it with gun. Juicy Fruit gum, specifically. The gum keeps my tummy from injury and the nifty anti-nausia meds keep me from anything else. It's all good.

Well, good except for the bits wherein my nose appears to be trying out for the Olympics and a long-distance marathon dripper. *twitch*

Hell is indeed around the corner. Everyone there has colds too.
