Alexander's Day

ARGH!

I finally try to get a bit more sleep, after a Night From Hell that involved passing out at just the wrong times - Cal and I had been going to play StarCraft with Rhett, and first he fell asleep, then I did, then Caleb did while I was in the cage... don't ask.

The few times I manage to get my computer to work, is anyone I know online? Of course not.

So I go back to bed, planning to get an hour's nap or so, leaving sounds on...

...I wake up to find my computer offline. Damned thing disconnected.

So I reconnect... and Alex is online. I message him, happy, I wasn't sure he would be around at all today, I'm thinking 'hey, at least one thing is going right'... and then poof. He logs offline.

Argh. Frustration extreme.

Takes me three tries to get ICQ running, one of them requiring a reboot. Still no Alex. Rhett is online, this is good... but dammit, there's no email. No letters. No word. And me with the uncomfortable pain of ANOTHER kidney stone that is just now hitting me as I am typing this.

Oh, joy. As I'm sure you can tell, I am quite thrilled about this. I am also thrilled about the fact that Winamp seems to be crashing every time it switches to a new song... gods.

It irks me that I've no emails. It really, truly does. It irks me a LOT. But then, that's just the attention slut in me screaming. *sighs* She tends to scream whenever she thinks I am being ignored, whether it's a rational thought or not.

Caleb is still sound asleep and I don't intend to wake him. I ~am~ thinking about joining him, however... maybe if I go back to sleep, when I next wake up it will be a better day.
