I don't WANT a new pet, but I'll be damned if I'm going to stay STUCK HERE IN PORTLAND and not find a way to feed. Hunting is right.

Wouldn't Hunt on the coast, that's her territory. But here? *shrugs* Plenty to go around.

Frustrated.

I was SUPPOSED to go down to the coast today, yes. Gonna meet Angel, look up Joseph, wander the streets, see if I could find old friends... sounded like a lot of fun, other than the be-with-my-parents part. Hell, my mom had even agreed to foot the bill for a couple long-distance phone calls so I could talk with Kadin and Caleb and be there for Torian when he gets back from the tatshop.

But no. The f'ing IV didn't go in properly, so they're gonna try it again Wednesday, so I'm not going down to the coast until NEXT week, which throws off my schedule and leaves me stuck here, with no way to Feed, no way to visit people I'd already told I'd visit... GEH.

Hate.

Got... unusually upset... at Kadin earlier. I thought it was the last I'd see of him for at least 4 days, likely a week... and... ehh. I'd expected something pretty specific from him and instead of seeing it as a chance to be useful, or as a good thing in any way, he saw it as torture and threw it away. I felt a bit insulted, I guess. *shrugs slowly*

I'm calming down.

Also talked to Torian... for a while I'd been wanting to see if I could draw out that sadistic streak in him. Not gonna try that any more. Not even gonna THINK about it any more. It's not something he's going to shake loose on his own and it's not something I am willing to fight for - I prefer him masochistic, overall.

Geh.

Frustrated.

I'm getting some sleeping meds from the doctor, gonna try to a) regulate my sleep schedule a bit better, and b) cope with needles a bit better.
