In Which our Hero Becomes Drugged, Writes a Letter, and Discovers Dr. Feelgood

Dr. Feelgood... woohoo! She's maybe 5-10 years older than me, IF that much... long, soft, black hair that falls in these amazing waves around her face... a nice face, pretty... she looks like a Mervyn's model, only with breasts and human. It's impressive.

This wonderful woman gave me Vicodin, she understood that taking over-the-counter stuff since I was FOUR really did give me a tolerance for the stuff and sending me home with extra-strength advil just wouldn't cut it.

She understood that I HATE needles, so she agreed to let me do the bloodwork last and ONLY if it was needed after the other tests - it wasn't, no poking of Jax, thankyouverymuch!

I really don't like hospitals much...

- Immune System -

bare feet on tile
linoleum, slippery-cold
my feet leave trails of human warmth
down the length of the hall
the man beside me wears shoes
rubber and nylon shields
against the touch of life
that seeps into the floors
he wears gloves
latex armor
to protect him from contamination
from exposure to illness
he carries a mask
pure white cotton
he tastes himself with each breath
refusing contact with the world

when did being human
become a disease?

*shrug* Wrote that several hospital-trips ago... this doctor wore gloves, but they were purple. *grin* No mask, and her shoes were comfy but open-toed... she was human. She was real. She was cute and funny and cool. I have NEVER dealt with a better doctor in a standard hospital... I want to go back just so I can make some sort of comment about how cool she was.

Anyway, enough about the doctor. On to one of my favorite topics: missing people. Yep, I'm doing it again... here's the list, NOT in any order: Nick, Scott, Kadin, Rhett, Daris, Alexander, Jeff, Juliet, Rie, Vicki, Josh, Thomas, Angel, Aleah, Boots, the other Scott, and Caleb... who is asleep on the bed about 10 feet away, so my missing him can be cured, thank the gods.

I still keep waiting for Nick to get back... I have this horrible fear that something will happen to him and I'll never know, that I will never see him again and... gah. I do not like that thought. *shudder* I will change the subject again:

Diaries.

If anyone has some suggestions for some really great reads, I'm more than willing to try them... I'm hoping for a diary that's been going at least a year, something long, with continuity... I want something I can spend several hours reading. *grin* Did that to teapotica and I think she actually noticed, unless it was someone else she commented on... I have no idea. However, as I was saying, I want something like hers, or boy-ashamed, or not-a-finger. Something really satisfying to read... maybe a bit strange, or funny, or just really intense... but something that's honestly THERE. So if you have some great diary that you've been following for a while, and have the urge to sign my guestbook or send me email, please do so. I am at home, sick, and need something new to read!

*finishes desperate vicodin-induced plea, snuggles into her fluffy blanket, and conks out for a nap*

Incidentally... Snowtygrrr has the most delicious british accent... and he growls just like a tiger when he cums. It's very amusing.
