I was out briefly, going to do the Monthly Grocery Shop, and heard a song on the radio. I know this isn't a big deal, most people hear songs on the radio and some of them even turn the radio on first. But I listened to the whole song all the way through without crying, screaming, throwing anything, or having to pull over - which is a first for this song in quite some time, sadly.

Yep. Another pop-song with so many memories attached that... let us say that this is just one of those songs. The ones that, when they play and Kadin is around, tend to make him beg me to turn it off, or to let him go hide in the cage out of reach. He knows what some songs do to me.

I really am affected strongly by music. You can write a hundred poems for me, and they will be wonderful, and meaningful... but play me one song, and tell me it makes you think of me... it blows my mind. Music touches things inside of me that words alone never quite reach.

"The Only Time" by Nine Inch Nails
"Black Jack's Lady" by Heather Alexander

Ok. That's a long enough list. Really, it should tell you all you need to know... then again, since I have no idea which 'you' I am addressing this to... *shrugs*

Scott, do me a favor, and PLEASE write up that user's manual? I think a couple people need copies. Although I am beginning to suspect my obsession could write one too. Not quite as in-depth... but still frighteningly good for all that. Button-pusher. *wry grin*
