Previous - this entry written on October 07, 2001 at 3:56 am - Next Ok... still no email from Al-X... so what I'm going to do is try to convince myself that he's just not going to write at all... which is easy enough, actually. I DID rather pounce him with TMI, he did ask but I rather doubt he'd remembered just how enthusiastically I would answer such questions, so... yeah. End of an era, as I titled one of my last entries. Nick is off to the military, he's gone and he won't be really 'back' for a long time, TOO long if you ask me. Caleb and the wench have been spending a lot of time talking on MSN, I think it's cute and it is certainly good for them both, Caleb because he gets to flirt with a cute semi-innocent girl and Talia because she's got company during the bad times, someone who appreciates her and is online more than I am. Furcadia... gods. I need to get back. Kaj needs to get back too, but never mind that. *listens to "Closing Time" again - the Leonard Cohen song, not the pop one - and gets all happy* "I swear it happened just like this..." ...and life is good. Life really, truly, all oddnesses included, is good. Although dammit, I miss him. Daris, thank you for your comfort... it's helped a lot.
