I've finally sobered up enough AND gotten rid of enough pain/illness/heat to be able to think pretty clearly about this. Had a long talk with Grr, a medium talk with Grr-and-Ryan, a short talk with Ryan, and... yeah. Woke up still feeling pretty set and certain. A pleasant change.

The phone rang while I was out in the kitchen. Bit answered it, said it was some chickie looking for Ryan. I asked her to find out who, she announced it was Becca. *blink* I took the phone.

See, yesterday before she left I told Becca to call when she got up, after 1:00 am.

So the first words out of her mouth were 'I wanted to apologise to Ryan'. Wrong move. She explained that she was afraid that by calling so late she had interfered with my plans and that either I was out running errands or maybe still asleep, so she thought she should just ask for Ryan. She wanted to apologise for messing up.

Um... manipulative, psychotic, and plotting much?

Seriously, I wish I could reproduce the tone of her voice. She came across as effectively saying 'oh damn, Jax, I thought I'd fucked you over and if I hadn't, I had hoped you were unconscious'. Again, bad move on her part.

I'm still hawking up half a lung, I'm about to take penecillin and vicodin, Ryan is sprawled in bed, half-awake, and the fan is running. I really think he oughta try to get to a doctor - likely he's got what I've got and it's only going to get worse if he doesn't treat it. *twitchshiver*

It's 2:02 and I am going to state it once again: I am a jealous (and vindictive) Goddess.
