My room:

The computer is set into what was once a closet in the south wall. To the right of it, just ouside the closet, there's a big wardrobe with a full-length mirror on the door. To the left, against the east wall, there's a bookcase, then a big rocking chair facing away from the computer, then a chest of drawers... then the north wall. In the middle of the north wall there's a closet - the futon that's in the northwest corner half-blocks the closet door. Right beside the futon, also blocking the closet, is a big cage, big enough for a person to fit in.

At the foot of the bed is the toy basket and a small nightstand, crammed with ten tons of junk. Lube, toys, carved figures, soda cans, vibrator attachments, papers, jewelry, and various bits of trash that we don't even know why we have them any more... maybe four feet of floor space from the foot of the bed to the wardrobe, maybe eight from the nightstand to the bookcase and pile o' crap in front of it, mostly clothing and boxes of books. The floor has a grey carpet, but you can't see it 'cos there is clothing and bondage gear, books, magazines, soda bottles, candles, and everything else under the sun scattered around, a good foot thick in places.

The door is to the right of the wardrobe in the south wall, just below the nightstand. It's got a curtain instead of an actual door, rather threadbare and with various pins in it. The west wall of the computer-closet is open, so you can see anyone about to enter the door via the open wall in the closet. There's another computer over there, half-blocking the view - that's Caleb's computer. He sits there when he's home.

In front of the computer desk (which is a bi-level, nice wooden desk, moniter on top, keyboard below, tower on the floor) is a swivel office chair. It's got rollers but there is so much stuff on the floor that it might as well be bolted down. In the corner formed by the bookcase, the wall, and the computer chair there is a guitar missing half its strings, and a digeredoo (which I can't spell) made out of PVC pipe. The bookcase itself is spilling books out everywhere, it is five shelves and they are FILLED, and we could easily fill it again just with what is lost in the mass of clothing at the base of it.

Half the reason for the stuff on the floor: there is NO insulation and it's a concrete floor. Even in the heat of summer it gets cold sometimes... although it also gets too HOT, about three inches above the floor and on up.

There's a small desklight beside the moniter, and soda cans, glasses, boxes, papers, little toys, etc. are covering the desk. There's a window to the left of the desk, set into the east wall of the computer closet, but it's got purple cloth over it. Most of the east wall above the chest of drawers is also window, but it's got black cloth covering it.

The lamp that hangs in the center of the room is a huge ball, with two rows of plastic 'petals' around it, one row of white, then an outer row of green. It looks like a daisy. This was, sadly, intentional... and it's low enough that everyone in here hits their head or arms or something on it.

There are several laundry baskets on the floor and the rocker, and currently there's a small pile of goldfish cracker packages near the computer, they were on sale and they're about all I've been eating for the past few days. *pouts*

The bed is a low futon, with fairly sturdy boards. The mattress isn't all that soft, and the boards DO shift, we've proven this. It's got a sheet, a blanket, and three pillows... inside the cage is another blanket, a sleeping bag (unzipped completely), another pillow, and a giant stuffed pikachu that's bigger than my head. Guarding the door are two fish-shaped bedroom slippers.
