...at 2-ish, Caleb is going to drive me to the OHP office, we'll both go in to talk about food stamps and Why I Should Have Them, he'll be there both for moral support and cos since he lives with me, apparently they want HIS work history, income verification, and all that too. Which he is not thrilled about.

So we go in, reschedule for an AFTERNOON appointment if they won't let me talk to someone today, and then I come home.

I am busy feeling sheepish for overreacting to the letter from Shan, you know... it's occupying quite a bit of my time, I was very overdramatic and assumed that just 'cos she SAID it was from him too, that it was. Which realistically wasn't that stupid an assumption to make, she IS his property and he'd passed other messages through that way. So I guess I can't be blamed for taking her word at face value, right?

I just got out of a shower... I should eat something, but I've already had a handful of nuts, several donut holes, some soda crackers, and some chicken-and-rice today. I'm going, instead, to do something horribly bad for me, and not eat again today.

Why am I doing this?

Simple - I CAN eat... but only if I eat one of my shakes. Which I need.

So I'm basically blackmailing myself into taking my medicine, which is a tactic I have to resort to far too often - it's also one of the reasons I appreciate Rhett, who will on occasion bully me into doing what is good for me, something that sometimes I need and that I don't thank him for often enough. So thank you, Rhett. *grins*

Anyway...

...oh, another not-a-new-year resolution. I'm going to stop using 'anyway'. Really I am. *wry grin*
